Miles To Go: Chapter One
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Miles to Go is a PSX-style story-driven psychological horror experience about loose memory, grief, and how loss can shake someone to the very core.
You play as Elliot, a grieving man on a trip as after a tragic accident with the loss of loved ones, he is on the verge of life and death, balancing on a thin thread and trying to hold on.
This is a story that is deep in his subconscious.
A story that you may very well not want to hear.
There are no enemies to fight.
There is no one left to blame.
Only miles to go.
Controls:
WASD: moving
LMB/space/enter: dialogue

Good luck.
(This is a 15- 20ish minute experience made in like the span of 6 months, and it will probably be rebranded or changed as the story progresses. Well, this has been all folks. Thanks so much to whoever is reading this for using their so precious time (no sarcasm) to try out this new upcoming game. And remember to brace for impact :))

Saw this game posted on r/playmygame and literally just created this account to leave this comment and a few more others on other games. The beginning was a little odd at first and I felt that the pacing was going a little fast, but when I reached the motel scene with the "how did you knew my name" part thats when I thought that it got good. After that it just went on better and better (although a side note, I think that the motel room shouldve had morei nteractions with the objects) and I really liked the train sequence. I like to see that so many indie games are being created each day and I would love to see and hear more of this project in the future!
Thank you so much for the kind words!
this is the best piece of chit that i ever played in my entire life it has a very good story and it has a good gameplay just please add a run bottom and less text please and if you are going to put all that text put a subway surfers gameplay on the screen please it will help a lot I hope this comment works and i hope you complete this game :)
Thanks so much!
Love the dialogue and was really intrigued by the story but after going into the hotel room there was nothing for me to interact with I was just stuck, maybe its a Linux issue but wanted to share
Oh my bad. It's just since I don't have access to Linux nor a windows machine It's hard for me to know if there are errors on that version. But, there isn't any interactables on the motel room, and the only one should be the bed on the left (also the door to the bathroom but the bathroom doesn't have any as well). Hope this helps and I'm so sorry
Ok so I did look into it for like 2 hours and i couldn't find any sort of problem with both the bed and the door. I don't really have a concise way to look into it in a Linux machine, so everything I'm judging is based of off both the Mac and Windows versions. Could you maybe restart the demo? (I know that it doesn't have any sort of savepoint so I'm sorry if you have to go through the beginning all over again).
Nah it's all good and yeah left bed didn't have an interaction, tiz the way of Linux. I'll double check if it works on Windows!
